I LIVE IN PA
I started sewing in Jr. High making an apron and then a three corner carry bag with one handle. I always wanted to wear pants, but wasn’t allowed. My parents told me one day, if I made them I could wear them. It was in high school when I made my first hipster bell-bottoms, no waistband pants. They were navy and yellow, with a side zipper and no pockets. The fabric print had large peace signs throughout. The most perfect pants ever!
Barbara has been my seamstress for over ten years. In addition, she has handled all of my alterations; accommodating any “figure changes” or updating a favorite jacket or hemline to meet today’s fashion trends. Barbara is able to work with all types of fabrics and always has my garments ready on the dates promised.
It is a joy to know that I can count on this very talented professional to meet all of my sewing needs. Iris R.
Ms. Barbara has sewn multiple projects for my new home. She took multiple trips to fabric stores to help me select fabric and to make sure I was purchasing the correct fabric for my projects. She was able to sew four sets of floor-to-ceiling curtains, add black leather to my dining room chairs (chair backs and seats), and add red slip covers to two old armless chairs. All of the finished products are VERY professional and look like they were purchased at a store!!! My overall experience with Ms. Barbara was fabulous and her prices were very reasonable. I know she also sews clothes and tailors too!!
All of the finished products are VERY professional and look like they were purchased at a store. I look forward to using her services again in the near future!
Barbara is an excellent seamstress. She made a two piece suit for me which was very nice. She also took up some pants so that they'd fit my husband better. We would recommend her services to anyone.
